NEURON-Aging Application

NEURON-Aging Application

Thank you for your interest in the grant-funded NEURON-Aging Program. This program has the primary goal of increasing the participation of University of Florida (UF) underrepresented minority (URM) undergraduate students conducting mentored research on the neurobiology of aging and neurological disorders of which aging is the greatest risk factor, such as Alzheimer's disease. Due to the nature of the National Institute on Aging (NIA)-funded grant, some questions asked are for the intent of expanding the diverse pool of undergraduate trainees interested in pursuing research and clinical careers related to understanding and treating brain aging. Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend of up to $1,000.00 while receiving mentored research training and career development support. The deadline for this application is October 27, 2023. Please reach out to Kathleen McIntyre (kathleenmcintyre@ufl.edu) with any questions regarding the application.
