About Ron J Mandel

Currently, I almost exclusively teach Functional Human Neuroanatomy in the Graduate School, Medical School, and Dental School. I am the co-founder of the Biomedical Neuroscience Online Program where I also teach numerous online classes. My other expertise regards experimental design and analysis. I mainly identify as a neuroanatomist. When I maintained a laboratory, my research focused on gene transfer to the nervous system both to treat animal models of neurological disorders and to model neurological disorders. The bulk of my research has focused on Parkinson’s disease and Huntington’s disease but I have published on a fairly wide variety of neurological disorders.
