Applying for the Online MSc with a concentration in Biomedical Sciences

Your complete application package will be evaluated by MSc program faculty. We will consider all aspects of your application packet when making our decision. You must have at a minimum completed a BA or BS degree to apply.  A minimum grade point average of B (3.0) for upper-division courses is required. This GPA is calculated using all grades and credits completed after the semester in which the applicant has completed 60 semester hours of 90 quarters of course hours. Stronger candidates will have completed course work in biology, chemistry, psychology / neuroscience and/or will have demonstrated professional experience in a neuroscience-related field. To earn a MSc degree from the UF graduate school, students must have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the completion of this program.

Admission decisions are made in the context of a holistic credential review process and will take into account your college transcripts, two letters of recommendation, and your personal statement. No GRE is required. If you are an international student whose native language is not English and who has not studied at an institution in the United States or other English-speaking country for one year or longer you will be required to submit the results of a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) to apply.
