Sarah Sniffen Earns Bronze at Medical Guild

Congratulations to Sarah Sniffen on earning a Bronze Award at the 2026 University of Florida Medical Guild Research Symposium!

The UF Medical Guild recognizes outstanding research conducted by biomedical graduate students in the College of Medicine.

Sarah Sniffen, a PhD student in the Wesson Lab, was recognized for her project titled, “Neural circuits directing emotional responses to odors.” Her work highlights important advances in understanding how the brain processes sensory information and emotion.
