Dr. Candelario has been awarded the AHA TPA Bridge Funding Opportunity for the project titled “Ripk2 as a myeloid checkpoint regulating immune neuroinflammatory programs after ischemic stroke.”
This competitive award provides $100,000 in support from April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027 to advance critical research aimed at understanding immune and neuroinflammatory responses following ischemic stroke.
