Dr. Mohdeh Faraji (Neuroscience Postdoc) was honored with a second place award for her work on “Aging alters distinct components of nucleus accumbens dopamine signals during decision making under risk of punishment.” Dr. Faraji presented her work on the McKnight Brain Research Foundations poster reception in San Diego in November in conjunction with Society for Neuroscience’s annual conference.

Joshua Juhasz, a NEURON-Aging trainee in Dr. Eric Porges’s lab, also received an honorable mention at the same reception. His poster was entitled “Is statis use associated with brain-predicted age in the cognitively-intact oldest-old.”
