Alyssa Mickle receives NIH F31 Fellowship

We are proud to celebrate Alyssa Mickle on receiving an NIH F31 Fellowship for her project titled, “Closed-loop epidural stimulation: respiratory motor plasticity and neural underpinnings”

Alyssa received her Notice of Award in January and officially began the fellowship in March 2025. This prestigious grant supports her cutting-edge research on neural mechanisms of respiratory function and the innovative use of closed-loop stimulation to promote motor plasticity.

Join us in congratulating Alyssa on this major milestone and exciting step forward in her research career!
