Dr. Sakthivel Ravi’s proposal entitled, “Impact of repetitive mild TBI in metabolic dysregulation and tauopathies” has been selected for the UF BRAIN center’s seed fund, which is granted to support innovative projects focused on brain injury, rehabilitation, and neuroresilience. Dr. Ravi will receive $10,000 to study the effect of repetitive mild traumatic brain injury (rmTBI) on spatial metabolic profile and tau pathology in a tau mouse model.
