This entirely student-run executive board is comprised of trainees who are both advancing their own neuroscience research and who are stepping up to lead and serve the broader neuroscience community at UF and in the greater North Central Florida area. By taking on leadership roles within NCF SfN, these trainees are going above and beyond to foster a collaborative and supportive environment for neuroscience professionals at UF, and are bringing greater awareness to the exciting neuroscience research being conducted in the greater North Central Florida area.
Congratulations to the new officers, and a huge thank you to the Neuroscience Department and departmental coordinator, Melissa Cherry, and the NCF SfN faculty sponsor, Dr. Ron Mandel, for their continued support of NCF SfN! Together, we will continue to advance the mission of the Society for Neuroscience and promote the understanding and importance of brain research.
