Congratulations to Dr. Habibeh Koshbouei who has been awarded three grants.
One of the grants is from the Medical Marijuana Clinical Outcomes Research (Consortium) titled “Development of cannabinoid treatments to ameliorate methamphetamine use disorder”.
The second grant is a subaward from Drexel University on their NIH R61/R33 titled “Defining the mechanistic synergies between stimulants and HIV driving neuroinflammation the ART-treated CNS”.
The third is a NIH R01 grant. The title is: Vagus nerve stimulation increases basal dopamine levels in the brain to decrease methamphetamine-mediated responses. Dr. Streit is a co-investigator.
