Drs. Habibeh Khoshbouei and Benoit Giasson were awarded a new R21 from NINDS entitled “The interactions between myenteric macrophages and enteric neurons shape the development and spread of enteric synucleinopathy”.
Dr. Jake Streit is a co-Investigator on an R01 awarded to the University of Miami entitled “Effects of Iron Accumulation in Intracortical Implants and Protection by Iron Chelation”. Dr. Streit will provide his expertise in iron transport, storage, and regulation across microglia.
