UF research featured on cover of The Year in JBC: 2018

A team of UF researchers incluJBC postding lead author Benoit Giasson, Ph.D., professor of neuroscience, and MBI Director Todd Golde, M.D., Ph.D., were highlighted in The Year in JBC: 2018 — the Journal of Biological Chemistry’s, or JBC, year-in-review edition — for their study titled, “Distinct differences in prion-like seeding and aggregation between Tau protein variants provide mechanistic insights into tauopathies.” Images from the study were featured on the cover of this special edition.

Studies selected “explore the importance of location, in examining secreted factors and cell type-specific functions, the importance of technology, in enabling new assessments of mouse development and plant metabolite interactions, and the importance of motivations, as seen by the many links to health and disease, and more.”
