Dr. Tom Foster earns prestigious NIH Merit award

Foster photo 2013Dr. Thomas Foster has been selected by the National Advisory Council on Aging to receive a MERIT award (Method to Extend Research in Time).  This is a prestigious award which is in recognition of Dr. Foster’s outstanding record of scientific achievements as a principal investiator on NIA research projects.

MERIT awards are given to a limited number of investigators who have demonstrated superior competence and productivity in research and who are likely to continue to perform in an outstanding manner.  Dr. Foster has been recognized for his sustained contributions to aging, and his leadership and commitment to the field.
