Brittany Butler awarded Graduate Student Poster Presentation Award

Congratulations to

Butler-BrittanyBrittany Butler, a fourth year doctoral candidate in the Neuroscience concentration within the IDP program at the University of Florida.  She is a senior graduate student in the laboratory of Dr. Habibeh Khoshbouei, where her dissertation research seeks to investigate the influence of alpha-synuclein overexpression on the biophysical properties of the dopamine transporter. 

With the support of Dr. Khoshbouei, she was able to participate in the 2nd Annual STEM Research and Career Symposium at Emory University in Atlanta.  There she was awarded second place for the Graduate Students Poster Presentations.
